Standard typing
Typing with G Keyboard does not send your keystrokes to G Keyboard. Standard typing works without Full Access.
AI rewrites
When you deliberately tap Fix, Tone, or Shorten, the relevant text before the cursor is sent through G Keyboard’s Cloudflare Worker to Google’s Gemini API. The result is returned to your keyboard. G Keyboard does not write the request or response content to a database or application log.
Service data and purchases
For abuse prevention, the service temporarily stores a one-way shortened hash derived from the connecting IP address with a request count; it expires after about two minutes. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple StoreKit. G Keyboard receives verified entitlement status, not your payment-card details.
Providers and your choices
Cloud requests are processed by Cloudflare and Google according to their applicable service and privacy terms. You can avoid AI rewrite buttons, disable Full Access, switch to Private typing, or remove the keyboard at any time in iPhone Settings.
